DAY 9 - Pink

The colour of the ninth day is Pink, signifies the power of intellect and peace. People worship Goddess Siddhidatri on this day. During Sharadiya Navratri , Devotees worship nine forms of Goddess Durga. Such as SHAILPUTRI, BRAHMACHARINI, CHANDRAGHANTA, KUSHMANDA, SKANDMATA , KATYAYANI, KALRATRI,  MAHAGAURI, and SIDDHIDATRI.
On the ninth day of Ashvin , shukla paksh -MAHA NAVMI Navratri , people worship Mata Siddhidatri which is ninth form of MATA DURGA. Let us know about significance of the day 9 Navratri 2021.

Mantra of Maa Sidhhidatri for Navratri 2022 Day 9

सिद्धगन्धर्वयक्षाद्यैरसुरैरमरैरपि |

 सेव्यमाना सदा भूयात् सिद्धिदा सिद्धिदायिनी ||

ओम सिद्धिदात्र्यै नम:।

विद्या: समस्तास्तव देवि भेदा:

स्त्रिय: समस्ता: सकला जगत्सु।

त्वयैकया पूरकिम्बयैतत्

का ते स्तुति: स्तव्यपरा परोक्ति:।।

सर्वभूता यदा देवी स्वर्गमुक्ति प्रदायिनी।

त्वं स्तुता स्तुतये का वा भवन्तु परमोक्तय:।।

नन्दगोप गृहे जाता योशोदा-गर्भ-सम्भवा।

ततस्तौ नाशयिष्यामि, विन्ध्याचल निवासिनी।।

या देवी सर्वभूतेषु मां सिद्धिदात्री रूपेण संस्थिता।

नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।

MAA SIDDHIDATRI

    NAVRATRI  is so much significant and loved festival of Hindus. MAHA NAVMI  is one of the most important tithi (day) among nine days of Navratri. Devotees worship mata SIDDHIDATRI on the auspicious day of MAHA NAVMI. Maha navmi is ninth and also the last day of Navratri, so garba lovers and devotees enjoy more on this day with playing garba and also by anushthan and bhakti. Siddhi means supernatural energy, and Datri means who blesses or gives boons. According to Markandey Puran, there are eight kinds pf siddhis, i.e. ANIMA, MAHIMA, GARIMA, LAGHIMA, PRAPTI, PRAKAMYA, ISHITVA, and WASHITVA. Maa SIDDHIDATRI is able to award these all siddhis to her beloved devotees. Maa Siddhidatri is shown always with four arms. She rides on a divine lion. There is a legend about MAA SIDDHIDATRI is LORD SHIVA is also known as ARDHNARESHWAR, because his one arm is of Devi Siddhidatri. Acoording to VEDIK scriptures, BHAGWAN SHIVA was rewarded with all the siddhis by worshipping DEVI SIDDHIDATRI.

KATHA OF MAA SIDDHIDATRI

    Once upon a time during before the VEDIK age, It is belived that GODDESS MAHASHAKTI took a form of a divine lady from a ray of bright light, when there was nothing around ,but just a darkest darkness. MAHASHAKTI was the supreme power herself. According to DEVI BHAGVAT, She gave birth to the Trinity - BRAHMA , VISHNU and MAHESH. Goddess Mahashakti explained the roles of all three of gods. She advised to perform their duties for entire universe. According to the advice of Maha Shakti, The Trideva took an Asana on the bank of an ocean and Did Tapashcharya for So many years. They Praised goddess appeared before them. This form of the goddess was the Sidhhidatri. Siddhidatri gave birth to her two clones and then Trideva gave them name Maha Lakshmi, Maha Kaali and Maha Saraswati. Goddesse Siddhidatri Advised Brahma to perform his roll as creation of the entire world. Then she gave roll of Preserving the Creation to the Vishnu. and The roll of Destroyer of the world on the right time to Mahadeva.  Mata Sidhhidatri acknowledged them about the shakti of their respective wives who would help them to performed their duty and also reward them with devine power.
