KATHA  OF  MAA  KALRATRI

Goddess Kalratri is one of the fiercest incarnation of MAHAKALI. This Avatar of Devi Mahakali is being worshiped by devotees on the day seventh of Navratri. On  Navratri 2022 day 7 , we will get to know about katha of Maa Kalratri. Once upon a time , there was a demon named RAKTABEEJ. He was so powerful that with every drop of his blood ,another demon Raktabeej got born. All the demons born with his blood shed were as much powerful as the demon himself. Whole brahmand and devlok and all the gods were being harassed by Asura Raktabeej. His name Raktabeej states the meaning of his existence that his blood (rakt) was a seed for giving birth to another demon just like his clone. All the deva went to Bhagwan SHIVA and requested to save them from Raktabeej.  Goddess Kalratri  cut off the heads of all Raktabeej and killed them by having their blood in her mouth without letting a single drop of his blood on the earth. Goddess KALRATRI is a form of self energy. The colour of the skin of goddess Kalratri was as black as night, that's why DEVI was named KALRATRI.
