The colour of the third day of Navratri 2022 is Royal Blue, a colour which stands for the strength of transforming. Hindus worship Goddess Chandraghanta on this day. Goddess Chandraghanta is the third form of Goddess Parvati (Durga) in Hinduism. Her name 'Chandra-Ghanta' means One Who hase a half moon shaped like a bell. Her third eye is always opened and she is always ready for war against demons. She is also know as Chandra Khanda - Chandika or RannChandi. She is believed to reward people with grace, bravery and courage. By her grace all the sins, distresses, physical sufferings, mental tribulations and Ghostly Hurdles of the devotees are eradicated. It also represent her married form.
Traditions and rituals of Navratri 2022 Day 3
Navratri is one of the significant Hindu festivals which is devoted to the Goddess Durga or Shakti. It is celebrated with much religious fervour. Among the Hindu Community across distinct parts of the country. Navratri 2021 holds Special Importance in Hinduism, thus devotees of Goddess Durga follow a various set of rituals for the nine days of Navratri 2021. By singing devotional songs and Garba during these divine nine nights people visits temples and other religious places. And offer prayers to the mother deities to get their utter blessings. Feeding Sweet (Bhog) to small girls is one of the pious rituals during Navratri 2021, Specially in the last three days.
