 Social Science in Education

Hello dear learners.
Learning the Social Science or Social Study is very interesting for all. As Social Science or Social Studies has historical stories, some Myths, Some war Stories and also So many things about Social Studies and Geography too. Students will enjoy our this step towards Learning of Social Science. GCERT has declared some changes in Curriculum of STD 6th to 8th. We have all new List of Learning Outcomes  as per GCERT.
Social study is a discipline that contains various topics of History, Geography and Political Science. The term was first coined by American educators around the turn of the twentieth century as a catch-all for these subjects, as well as others which did not fit into the traditional models of lower education in the United States, such as philosophy and psychology.
One of the purposes of social studies, particularly at the level of higher education, is to integrate several disciplines, with their unique methodologies and special focuses of concentration, into a coherent field of subject areas that communicate with each other by sharing different academic "tools" and perspectives for deeper analysis of social problems and issues. The social studies aims to train students for informed, responsible participation in a diverse democratic society. The content of social studies provides the necessary background knowledge in order to develop values and reasoned opinions, and the objective of the field is civic competence.
Please Download some Latest Learning Outcomes from GCERT.
In the project PATHANAM, We will explain the fundamentals of curriculum of STD 6 GSEB, STD 7 GSEB, STD 8 GSEB, STD 9 GSEB, STD 10 GSEB with the base of Learning Outcomes of related subjects. We will try our best to help you to upgrade the Learning outcomes and Scientific approach  and concepts among the students which will be useful to all the teachers as well as the learners for gaining better grade in all the evaluations including Gunotsav 2.0, Annual Exams, Terminal Exams, PAT, Unit Tests. PATHANAM project will provide you the best opportunities to connect with the best Subject experts in specific subject.

Social studies is not a subject, instead functioning as a field of study that incorporates many different subjects. It primarily includes the subjects of historygeographyeconomicscivics, and sociology. Through all of that, the elements of ethicspsychologyphilosophyanthropologyart, and literature are incorporated into the subject field itself. The field of study itself focuses on human beings and their respective relationships. With that, many of these subjects include some form of social utility that is beneficial to the subject field itself.
