Importance of Learning Gujarati

Matrubhasha is the language in which an individual expresses his/her thoughts, feelings and emotions. One watches dreams only in the mother tongue. An angry person expresses his/her anger only in matrubhasha. A human being cheers the words of happiness only in mother tongue. Gujarati is now a days spoken and understood language in the world as Gujju people are living in so many countries of the world. It is the language of regional communication, media and the internet in Gujarat as well as where Gujju people live. Understanding the importance of Gujarati will help you succeed in regional business and studies and communication. Pramukh Swami Maharaj said that "If one's mother tongue is forgotten, one's value will also be forgotten." which shows the importance of mother tongue matrubhasha of a human.
Because the huge population of individuals speak Gujarati in India and beyond, Gujarati is the 26th most spoken and understood language over the globe. Gujarati has the treasure of vast vocabulary and history that includes connections to the Mother Ancient language Sanskrit. According to census 2011, Gujarati is the 6th most spoken language in India by number of 55.5 million native speakers which is about 4.5 % of the total population of Hindustan. Gujarati is more than 700 years old language.
Gujarati is the mother tongue language 'MATRU BHASHA' of Gujarat state. It is one of the declared official languages of our nation India. Gujarati is spoken by million people in India. Nowadays, so many TV shows, films, books, and music are published and produced in Gujarati and became popular too. One can improve Gujarati listening and reading skills via widely printed and audio visual literature. Learning mother tongue language enhances your cognitive and analytical abilities. Learning Gujarati Language improves personality and increases sense of self - worth. Learning (matrubhasha) mother tongue language makes your brain stronger ,smarter and more versatile.
Gujarati is the language which is gifted to the child by his/her birth from his mother. Learning to communicate in mother tongue or native language is very much important for over all development of a child. Learning of native languages is beneficial to learn other languages too. It connects the person with his culture, rituals, Dharma, spirituality and the society in which he/she belongs to. In honour of the Matrubhasha , UNESCO announced the day 21st February as Vishva Matrubhasha Divas in the year 1999. We celebrate this day since the year 2000.
Gujarati language learning is so much useful as well as important as It gives a lot of satisfaction and making progress will make you feel great. Education given via Gujarati - native language is proven to be more effective. Students can learn the learning outcomes with ease with their mother tongue and regional vocabulary. Education given via matrubhasha, grows out as if a seed grows out from the soil with the nutrition of fertilizers, air, water and sunlight. Mother tongue Gujarati provides the appropriate environment for entire learning of any languages or any subjects to the students.
